Comprehension is more than just knowing what you read. It requires skills along the language continuum to construct and compose meaning. Students then need to actively demonstrate that meaning through their writing. This class will break down these skills and examine the areas where dyslexic readers may struggle including skills such as main idea, drawing conclusions and making inferences. This course is co-taught with Josephine Calamari, M.ED AOGPE-FIT and supervised by Rosalie Davis, and it will count towards AOGPE coursework hours at the Certified Level.
